I arrived to Stockholm by boat around 11 a.m. and went for a walk around Gamla Stan (“Old Town”), which still has a few medieval buildings as well as a baroque Royal Palace. (The original royal castle in Stockholm burnt down.)

Note the “Järnpojken” – the tiny sculpture of a boy. I heard that people put a hat and a scarf on him in winter.
