A little town of Haarlem right outside Amsterdam boast a rather impressive Cathedral, Grote Kerk. The Cathedral has beautiful ceilings and a huge organ. Like many other cathedrals in the Netherlands, it was originally painted in bright colors but was repainted white during the Reformation. The layers of white paint are now being removed to expose the original colors.
