It’s been raining in Rio almost non-stop for a few days. Around 7:30 p.m. I noticed that it stopped raining and that it hasn’t gotten dark yet, so we went for a walk. When we got to the beach, we saw a spectacular sight: a pink rainbow over a purple sky. It was absolutely amazing. I ran back up to the appartment to grab my camera as fast as I could.

When I got back, the rainbow got considerably less visible, but I still managed to take a couple of pictures before it disappered completely. Since I had the camera in my hand, I decided to take a few more pictures of the sunset sky, which was rather nice even without the rainbow.
