As we were walking through from our neighborhood towards the Mission we saw a lot of police action, until we realized there was a immigrants rights march heading down Dolores St. I just happened to have my camera with me (it was sunny day), so here are the pictures. After the march passed we had a nice abstract discussion about the contruction of class, race and ethnicity. (We really did, because we are nerds. But it was a moving event nonetheless.)
