Research (they gave me some money for my research, which was very nice), and a couple of days in SF to catch up with friends. While there I got to try the "miracle fruit" - something I read about in some blog or something like that (perhaps in [Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracle_Fruit)). It's a small dry fruit, which you chew on, and then anything you eat tastes sweet. We experimented with things like lemons and vinegar.
